This project in St Helens was a standout. Not just for the clean coastal aesthetic, but because it was the builder’s personal home. Being trusted with a fellow tradesman’s own space is always a privilege, and I worked closely with him throughout to get the details just right.

The bedroom lighting is a great example of the warm, relaxed feel we aimed for across the whole house. Brass wall sconces with exposed filament bulbs add a soft, ambient glow. Perfect for winding down in the evenings, while complementing the natural textures and palette chosen by Samantha Milne Interiors. Every fitting and fixture was thoughtfully specified, and the result is a calm, layered space that feels both refined and lived-in
